Landscape Maintenance Coordinator — Eco-Hotel Group

Responsibilities

• Coordinate landscape maintenance across the property group: schedule gardening teams, prioritize high-guest-impact areas, manage post-storm recovery
• Oversee native plant nursery operations across properties: track propagation stock, coordinate replanting schedules, manage plant health
• Implement and monitor eco-certification landscape requirements — Tulum's leading properties hold certifications (Rainforest Alliance, Distintivo S) that include landscape and chemical-use criteria
• Manage organic input procurement: compost suppliers, approved organic fertilizers, biodegradable pest control products
• Coordinate with hotel management on any landscape changes to ensure compliance with SEMARNAT coastal zone regulations (zona federal marítima)
• Train new gardening team members on cenote-adjacent chemical restrictions and native species identification

Requirements

• 3+ years hotel landscaping experience, eco-property background preferred
• Eco-certification landscape requirements knowledge
• Team coordination ability across multiple small properties
• SEMARNAT coastal zone regulation awareness
