Grounds & Green Spaces Supervisor — Hotel Group

Responsibilities

• Oversee landscape and grounds operations across 3–4 hotel properties in the Cancún–Riviera Maya corridor
• Hire, train, and develop property-level grounds teams: build team capability, reduce turnover by investing in gardener skills
• Standardize landscape quality standards across the property group: develop maintenance specifications that each property team can follow consistently
• Manage inter-property plant and supply logistics: consolidate nursery purchasing across properties, share plant stock between properties as needed
• Coordinate with hotel general managers and operations directors on major landscape projects: renovation cycles, property upgrades, garden redesign
• Develop group-level sustainability and water-use targets for landscape departments

Requirements

• 6+ years hotel landscaping with multi-property or department management experience
• Team building and training ability
• Cross-property operations coordination
• Sustainability program development for landscape departments
• Strong communication with hotel general managers

About the role

Managing grounds teams across multiple Hotel Zone properties means seeing the same environmental challenges playing out simultaneously at different scales — the same hurricane prep required at every property, the same dry-season irrigation intensification, the same wet-season fungal management. The supervisor who has standardized the response to these recurring challenges across the group, who has built teams that know what to do when the weather changes, has made those challenges organizational problems rather than personal firefighting.
