Work environment
Grounds supervision in Guadalajara. Team management role in a hotel property where colonial garden presentation and events-calendar landscaping are key operational priorities.
About the role
Guadalajara's boutique hotel event calendar creates a specific kind of pressure on the grounds supervisor: the expectation that the garden will be exactly right on a date that was set six months ago. The supervisor who manages the bougainvillea pruning cycle with November wedding season in mind — who knows that the plants cut back in September will bloom exactly when the bridal party arrives — is providing a service that the events team sells and the couple experiences. That timing is the real expertise.
