Work environment

Five-star luxury resort in Los Cabos. Senior grounds management with technical irrigation responsibility, team leadership, and direct interface with hotel executive management.

About the role

Running a grounds team on a Los Cabos luxury resort means managing water as carefully as any other operating cost, because in Baja California Sur it literally is one. The supervisor who can keep a luxury landscape thriving on the minimum water allocation — who has tuned the drip schedules precisely enough that the agave and bougainvillea are healthy without a liter more than they need — is saving the hotel money while maintaining the guest experience. That technical sophistication is what differentiates a grounds supervisor from a senior gardener.
