Senior Electrician — Villa & Smart Systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain smart villa electrical systems — Crestron, Control4, or Savant integrated control systems managing lighting, climate, AV, pool, and security across multiple luxury villas
• Diagnose faults in smart control systems: programming issues, hardware failures, network-electrical interfaces
• Maintain all standard villa electrical alongside smart system infrastructure
• Coordinate with smart systems integrators for software updates and system expansions
• Train guest services and butler staff on guest-facing system operation and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate system documentation — smart villa documentation is critical for fault diagnosis

Requirements

• Strong electrical foundation plus demonstrated smart home or building automation experience
• Crestron, Control4, Savant, or Lutron RadioRA experience highly valued
• Minimum 3 years electrical with at least 1 year in smart systems or luxury residential
• English communication ability for coordination with international system suppliers

About the role

Smart villa electrical is where luxury hospitality meets building technology — and the skills required to maintain these systems don't exist in the standard electrical training curriculum. The electrician who masters Crestron programming and smart system fault diagnosis is working at a level where there's effectively no competition for their position. There are very few people in Mexico who can do this well.
