Electrician — Hacienda Hotel

Responsibilities

• Maintain all electrical on a hacienda property combining 19th-century architecture with modern hotel systems
• Manage the hacienda's solar supplement system (where installed) alongside grid connection
• Maintain cistern pump electrical — haciendas typically use historic cistern systems adapted for modern water supply
• Handle extensive outdoor lighting: hacienda grounds, garden paths, cenote access lighting, event terrace lighting
• Service industrial laundry equipment electrical where property has in-house laundry
• Maintain the hacienda's event infrastructure electrical for weddings and corporate events — the Yucatán hacienda wedding market is significant

Requirements

• Electrical experience; rural or hacienda property electrical a genuine advantage
• Solar and pump electrical experience preferred
• Comfortable working outside the city — hacienda properties are 20–60km from Mérida
• Flexible for event season demands
