Electrician — Boutique Properties

Responsibilities

• Full electrical responsibility for a 50-room boutique property — the sole dedicated electrician on staff
• Maintain all systems: guest room circuits, rooftop bar and pool area lighting, reception and lobby electrical, kitchen connections
• Perform quarterly full-property electrical inspection — panel by panel, circuit by circuit
• Handle all lighting design maintenance: specialty fixtures, LED dimmer systems, mood lighting in common areas
• Manage generator maintenance in coordination with general maintenance technician
• Coordinate external certified contractors for work requiring permits or specialized equipment

Requirements

• Hotel electrical experience; comfort operating as sole electrical specialist
• Good fault-finding skills without a senior technician to escalate to
• Professional and discreet — boutique hotel properties require low-profile maintenance presence
• Self-directed and organized

About the role

Being the only electrician in a boutique hotel is full ownership. Every fault that gets fixed is yours; every panel that's been maintained is yours; every circuit you know from memory is expertise you've built. There's no escalation path — which means there's also no limit on what you can learn.
