Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8–12 maintenance technicians across day and evening shifts
• Assign and prioritize work orders; ensure response time standards are met
• Manage the preventive maintenance schedule across all property systems
• Liaise with the Chief Engineer on capital projects, contractor coordination, and budget tracking
• Conduct daily shift briefings and weekly team performance reviews
• Oversee inventory control for maintenance parts and consumables; manage purchase orders within budget authority
• Ensure all maintenance activity complies with Distintivo H and property safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years hotel maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong multi-trade knowledge: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC
• Leadership ability — managing a shift team under pressure
• Computer literate for work order systems and reporting

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor is the person the Chief Engineer trusts to hold the operation together when they're not on the floor. The ability to keep eight technicians coordinated, prioritize a dozen simultaneous work orders, and still walk into a room and personally fix something when the team is stretched — that combination of management and craft is what this role demands.
