Preventive Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute the property's preventive maintenance program across all mechanical systems
• Lubricate, inspect, and service motors, pumps, fans, and elevators (external company coordinates major elevator work)
• Complete daily checklists across boiler room, mechanical rooms, and rooftop equipment
• Perform quarterly room inspections — check all fixtures, furniture, caulking, window seals
• Report structural or major system issues to engineering supervisor for escalation
• Keep maintenance storeroom organized; flag low inventory of consumables

Requirements

• Experience with preventive maintenance schedules and documentation
• Basic mechanical aptitude across multiple systems
• Ability to read simple technical schematics
• Reliability — preventive maintenance is a discipline, not a reaction
