Maintenance Technician — Electrical & Low-Voltage Systems

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for property electrical systems — distribution boards, room circuits, emergency backup, generator testing
• Maintain all low-voltage systems: in-room entertainment, Sonos audio, smart room controls, safe boxes, electronic door locks
• Coordinate with the property's AV contractor on system upgrades and fault resolution
• Monitor and document energy consumption; report to management on efficiency targets
• Ensure all electrical work meets NOM-001-SEDE and property insurance requirements
• On-call availability for electrical emergencies during off-shift hours

Requirements

• Formal electrical training (CONALEP, vocational certification, or equivalent)
• Experience with smart room control systems and low-voltage networks preferred
• Minimum 3 years electrical maintenance in hotels or commercial buildings
• Reliable and calm under pressure during electrical emergencies

About the role
