Responsibilities
- Service and maintain all air conditioning systems across a converted colonial property — mini-splits and ductless units installed through century-old limestone walls
- Perform monthly filter cleaning, coil checks, and condensate drain clearing on all AC units — critical in Mérida's humidity and heat
- Handle all standard maintenance: plumbing, electrical, furniture, fixtures
- Maintain the property's central courtyard: fountain systems, garden lighting, drainage
- Manage the colonial building's unique challenge of routing modern infrastructure through historic walls without damage
- Respond to AC failure calls with immediate priority — Mérida's heat makes this the highest-urgency maintenance issue
Requirements
- Mini-split and ductless AC service experience — essential
- Maintenance experience in colonial or heritage buildings preferred
- Physical fitness for work in Mérida's heat
- Immediate AC troubleshooting competency
