Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the hotel's Building Management System (BMS) — monitor HVAC, lighting, energy, and access control from the engineering console
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults across the high-rise structure: distribution boards, UPS systems, emergency lighting
- Coordinate with the BMS vendor on software updates and system expansions
- Manage energy efficiency monitoring — flag consumption anomalies and implement corrective measures
- Maintain emergency power systems: generators, UPS banks, battery backup lighting
- Train junior technicians on BMS operation and basic electrical fault-finding
Requirements
- Vocational or technical certification in electrical systems or building automation
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) — Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls systems common in CDMX towers
- Minimum 3 years commercial electrical maintenance in CDMX or comparable city
- English reading comprehension for BMS system documentation
