General Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Handle all maintenance requests across a 60-room boutique property — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, furniture
• Perform weekly preventive inspection of all guest rooms: fixtures, AC units, lighting, door hardware
• Maintain rooftop bar area: seating, lighting, sound system connections, bar equipment
• Respond to pool maintenance issues in coordination with pool technician
• Touch-up painting and carpentry repairs between guest stays
• Maintain property's backup generator — weekly test runs and monthly full checks

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in hotel or hospitality maintenance
• Multi-trade competency across basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Attention to detail suited to boutique standards — nothing goes out looking rough
• Flexible availability including weekend shifts
