Maintenance Technician — General & Structural

Responsibilities

• Handle all general maintenance for a 30-room boutique hotel: electrical, plumbing, furniture, fixtures
• Conduct regular structural inspection of wooden and natural-material elements — rot, termite activity, UV degradation
• Maintain rooftop terrace and outdoor dining areas: furniture, umbrellas, lighting, drainage
• Execute preventive maintenance program across all property systems
• Manage paint and surface maintenance — natural plasters and lime finishes require specific repair techniques
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialist work beyond in-house capacity

Requirements

• Multi-trade maintenance experience; boutique hotel background valued
• Familiarity with lime plaster, natural stone, and wooden construction finishes preferred
• Detail-oriented — boutique hotel standards require precision on every visible surface
• Flexibility on shifts; small team requires coverage across a 7-day week
