Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain central chilled water plant: centrifugal or screw chillers, cooling towers, chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, chemical treatment system
- Monitor chiller performance via BMS: approach temperatures, efficiency curves, refrigerant pressures — identify performance degradation early
- Manage cooling tower chemical treatment program: biocide dosing, scale inhibitor, pH management
- Coordinate with chiller manufacturer service teams for annual maintenance and warranty work
- Maintain air handling units throughout the resort: filter replacement, coil cleaning, damper operation, belt tension
- Manage refrigerant log in compliance with SEMARNAT refrigerant handling regulations
Requirements
- Advanced HVAC training with centrifugal or screw chiller experience
- EC0152 certification — mandatory
- BMS monitoring experience for chilled water plant management
- Minimum 4 years HVAC maintenance with plant operations experience
