Senior Painter & Carpenter — Renovation Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead painting and carpentry team of 2–4 workers during room renovation cycles and public area refresh projects
• Plan and execute room block refresh programs: coordinating with rooms division on block release scheduling, managing team workflow to return rooms to sellable condition on schedule
• Specify and procure finishing materials for luxury-standard results: marine-grade paints for exterior, hardwood furniture restoration materials, high-durability tile grout systems
• Execute custom carpentry work for renovation projects: custom millwork, built-in furniture, lobby and restaurant feature elements
• Train junior painters and carpenters on luxury hotel finish standards — the quality of paint finish expected in a luxury resort is substantially higher than standard construction quality
• Maintain accurate project documentation and material consumption records for cost management

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years hotel painting and carpentry; renovation project leadership experience
• Luxury finish standards competency — walls must be glass-smooth, paint must be perfectly even, carpentry joints must be tight
• Team leadership and project planning capability
• Specification and material knowledge for luxury hotel environments
