Painter & Carpenter — Hotel & Colonial Properties

Responsibilities

• Execute room painting maintenance across a business hotel on rotating schedule
• Maintain colonial boutique property finishes (where group operates both property types): lime paint, period woodwork, courtyard elements
• Handle carpentry repairs across both property types: standard hotel furniture repairs and period-appropriate wooden element restoration
• Apply exterior mold-resistant paint program before rainy season — Guadalajara's summer rain creates mold growth risk on exterior surfaces in the June–September period
• Maintain central courtyard elements in colonial properties: fountain surrounds, painted archways, decorated tile borders
• Coordinate with property management on annual refresh cycle and low-season renovation windows

Requirements

• Painting and carpentry competency across both modern hotel and colonial heritage environments
• Rainy season exterior painting scheduling awareness
• Mold-resistant exterior paint system knowledge
• Reliable and self-directed
