Painter & Carpenter — Colonial & Hacienda Properties

Responsibilities

• Maintain paint and finish in colonial boutique property: lime paint or compatible modern systems, period-appropriate color palette, molding and archway detail maintenance
• Restore and maintain hacienda woodwork: colonial-era wooden beams and lintels, original timber doors, window frames and jalousies
• Maintain Yucatecan green cantera stone elements: protective sealant application, chip repair with matching stone dust patching
• Apply heat-tolerant coatings for Mérida's extreme temperature environment — paint must withstand 42°C+ ambient and direct sun exposure
• Handle carpentry repairs on period-style furniture and interior fittings in both properties
• Travel between Mérida city property and hacienda on scheduled maintenance visits

Requirements

• Painting and carpentry experience; colonial building experience
• Heat-tolerant coating product knowledge for Yucatán climate
• Period-style carpentry and furniture restoration ability
• Driving license for inter-property travel
