Plumber — Boutique Hotels & Heritage Buildings

Responsibilities

• Provide plumbing services across 2–3 boutique properties in Condesa and Roma Norte — art deco and colonial buildings from the 1920s–1950s
• Diagnose and repair aging plumbing systems — many properties have original lead or galvanized supply lines requiring phased modernization
• Handle building settlement-related pipe stress — Condesa and Roma sit on former lakebed and settle more than other CDMX neighborhoods
• Maintain heritage bathroom fixtures in period-appropriate or sympathetic repair styles where ownership requires conservation approach
• Execute rainy-season drain preparedness — Condesa and Roma Norte have chronic street flooding in heavy summer rains that can affect ground-floor drains
• Build and maintain plumbing documentation for each property — critical for managing aging systems safely

Requirements

• Plumbing experience in old or heritage buildings
• CDMX urban plumbing environment knowledge — building settlement, lakebed geology effects, rainy-season drainage
• Organized for multi-property work scheduling
• Patient diagnostic approach with undocumented legacy systems
