Responsibilities
- Handle all plumbing maintenance across a resort property: guest bathrooms, kitchen drains, pool area bathrooms, laundry
- Manage water softening system — Quintana Roo water is moderately hard; softening equipment protects fixtures, boilers, and guest experience
- Perform seasonal drainage checks before and during rainy season — July to October drainage performance requires proactive management in karst terrain
- Repair and replace fixtures to resort specification
- Maintain hot water system including solar collectors common to eco-conscious Riviera Maya properties
- Respond to urgent drain blockages and pipe failures during shift
Requirements
- Plumbing experience in hotel or large commercial building
- Water softening system maintenance experience preferred
- Understanding of Quintana Roo drainage environment
- Rotating shift availability
