Hotel Plumber

Responsibilities

• Handle all plumbing maintenance across a resort property: guest bathrooms, kitchen drains, pool area bathrooms, laundry
• Manage water softening system — Quintana Roo water is moderately hard; softening equipment protects fixtures, boilers, and guest experience
• Perform seasonal drainage checks before and during rainy season — July to October drainage performance requires proactive management in karst terrain
• Repair and replace fixtures to resort specification
• Maintain hot water system including solar collectors common to eco-conscious Riviera Maya properties
• Respond to urgent drain blockages and pipe failures during shift

Requirements

• Plumbing experience in hotel or large commercial building
• Water softening system maintenance experience preferred
• Understanding of Quintana Roo drainage environment
• Rotating shift availability

The Riviera Maya sits on top of one of the world's largest freshwater cave systems. The plumber who understands what that means for drainage behavior, for water quality, for the ways the rainy season affects subsurface pressure — is working with local knowledge that takes years to build and can't be learned from a textbook.
