Hotel Plumber — All-Inclusive Resort

Responsibilities

• Handle all plumbing maintenance across a large all-inclusive resort: guest bathrooms, kitchen drains, pool bathrooms, laundry, spa
• Manage rainy-season drainage preparedness — Nuevo Vallarta receives significant summer rainfall; roof drains, terrace drainage, and pool overflow systems require pre-season inspection
• Service commercial laundry plumbing: washing machine water connections, drains, hot water supply
• Maintain spa and pool area plumbing: jacuzzi systems, outdoor showers, pool deck drains
• Clear high-use drain blockages with mechanical and hydro-jet equipment
• Respond to plumbing emergencies during shift; document all work in property management system

Requirements

• Hotel plumbing experience
• Rainy-season drainage preparedness awareness
• Rotating shift flexibility
• Physical fitness for confined space and trench access work

About the role

Nuevo Vallarta's rainy season hits hard between June and October — heavy tropical downpours that can drop 100mm in an afternoon. The plumber who has prepared the resort's drainage system for that load, who cleared the roof drains in April and checked the terrace sumps in May, prevents flooded terraces and water intrusion into guest areas. Prevention here saves thousands of pesos in damage.
