Hotel Plumber — Colonial Boutique & Events

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plumbing in a colonial boutique property: guest bathrooms, kitchen, courtyard fountain, spa or jacuzzi area
• Manage cistern and tinaco systems — SMA water supply depends on municipal delivery plus stored reserve; tinaco float valves, level monitoring, and pump maintenance are daily operational responsibilities
• Inspect and insulate exposed pipe runs before cold season (November–February) — San Miguel's winter nights can reach 2–4°C; pipe freezing is a real risk for exposed exterior runs
• Service event-period temporary plumbing connections for outdoor wedding receptions — additional portable sink connections, outdoor bar water supply, temporary drainage for catering areas
• Maintain the property's central courtyard fountain — essential architectural feature of colonial SMA hotel
• Coordinate with external contractors for major works during low-season renovation periods

Requirements

• Plumbing experience; colonial building or cistern system experience useful
• Altitude and cold-season pipe protection awareness
• Flexible availability during wedding season events (April–June, September–November)
• Reliable and self-directed for small-team environment
