Work environment
Large marina resort in Cabo San Lucas. Water systems specialist role spanning pool management and resort-scale domestic water infrastructure.
About the role
Los Cabos has some of the hardest water in North America — calcium and mineral content that would scale an untreated pool in weeks. The water systems technician who manages the softening plant, the RO system, and the pool chemistry across a large resort simultaneously is keeping all of these systems functioning through a treatment process that starts before the water even reaches the pools. Upstream infrastructure management is what separates a water systems specialist from a pool technician.
