Reservations & RevenueCorporate Sales Executive
Five-star business hotel, Polanco or Reforma, CDMX
Mexico City
Fixed monthly + transport subsidy + commission on corporate account room nights and meeting revenue
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate accounts for a CDMX five-star business hotel: prospect and cultivate relationships with corporate travel managers, procurement managers, and executive assistants across CDMX's most commercially active business segments (technology, financial services, consulting, pharmaceutical, government-adjacent)
- Lead the annual corporate RFP (Request for Proposal) response process: prepare rate proposals for each corporate account, negotiate the rate level and volume commitment, apply the displacement economics analysis that determines which accounts to accept at which rate levels, and manage the process through to signed rate agreement
- Develop the government and diplomatic travel market: CDMX hosts the offices of all federal government ministries, foreign embassies, and international organizations — the corporate sales executive who develops relationships with travel procurement officers in these institutions has access to stable, consistent demand that is less price-sensitive than the private sector corporate market
- Manage the corporate account production tracking: monthly reporting on actual room nights per account versus commitment, ADR performance per account, and production trend analysis that feeds the annual RFP assessment
- Attend CDMX business community events, trade chambers, and corporate travel management association meetings to develop the prospecting pipeline
- Coordinate with the MICE sales team on corporate client referrals for meetings and events

Work environment
Corporate sales executive at a CDMX five-star business hotel. Portfolio corporate account development, government travel market cultivation, and annual RFP management in Latin America's most commercially significant urban hotel sales environment.
About the role
The CDMX corporate sales executive who manages a pharmaceutical company account — who knows the company's CDMX travel pattern (field sales team arriving Monday evening, leaving Thursday afternoon, 25–35 rooms per week with a Tuesday dinner at the hotel restaurant) — who meets the company's travel manager for lunch in October, who by the November RFP deadline has a rate proposal that reflects the company's actual production pattern rather than a generic corporate volume commitment — who closes the renewal at a rate 4% above prior year because the production data supported the increase — has done the relationship and data work that makes a corporate account renewal feel like a mutual recognition rather than a negotiation. The best corporate account renewals don't feel like negotiations.
