Work environment

MICE and group sales manager at a CDMX five-star hotel. Corporate meeting, international association, and pharmaceutical conference market development in Latin America's most active meetings and events destination.

About the role

The CDMX MICE sales manager who responds to an international pharmaceutical conference RFP at 11pm on a Thursday — who submits the proposal at 8am Friday with a personalized cover letter, the hotel's biosafety credentials specifically relevant to the pharmaceutical association, a proposed room block allocation by session date, and a tailored F&B menu proposal featuring the chef's Mexican cuisine showcase dinner — who wins the contract against 4 competing hotels — has done the responsive, detail-specific work that the professional congress organizer who submitted the RFP remembers. The PCO books where their RFPs are answered with intelligence and speed. The MICE manager who consistently delivers both gets on the PCO's short list for every Mexico City bid.
