Reservations Agent — Boutique Luxury Property

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete reservations process for a boutique Los Cabos luxury property (15–50 rooms): each booking is individually significant at this scale — the agent builds a personal relationship with every guest inquiry rather than processing volume
• Coordinate pre-arrival experience personalization as part of the booking process: boutique Los Cabos properties offer a level of pre-arrival customization (butler assignment, room setup, airport transfer with specific preferences) that requires the reservations agent to gather detailed information during the booking
• Manage the property's direct booking relationship with the golf community: the Los Cabos golf traveler books specific tee times on specific courses — the boutique hotel reservations agent who can coordinate Quivira and Palmilla tee times as part of a golf package reservation adds commercial value beyond room occupancy
• Handle the property's seasonal demand management: Los Cabos has a sharp two-peak season (Thanksgiving–Easter and July–September sport fishing season) — the reservations agent applies the Revenue Manager's rate strategy accurately across both peaks and manages the shoulder season with appropriate promotional rate management
• Coordinate with the wedding sales coordinator on destination wedding inquiries: boutique Los Cabos properties receive frequent wedding inquiries — the agent processes room block components and coordinates with the events team on the full wedding package
• Manage the property's OTA and GDS connectivity with rate parity discipline

Requirements

• Reservations experience; boutique luxury property preferred
• English fluency; Spanish native; additional language an advantage
• Golf package and activity coordination experience
• Direct booking conversion awareness
• Seasonal demand and rate application competency
