Reservations & RevenueReservations Agent — Corporate Travel Focus
Five-star business hotel, Polanco or Reforma, CDMX
Mexico City
Fixed monthly + transport subsidy + conversion bonus
Responsibilities
- Manage corporate account reservations for the CDMX five-star hotel's established corporate client base: government ministries, multinational corporations with CDMX headquarters, international organizations (UN agencies, diplomatic missions), and the domestic corporate market — each with specific RFP-negotiated rates, billing agreements, and service expectations
- Apply corporate rate structure accurately: the CDMX corporate hotel manages dozens of negotiated rate codes with different room category inclusions, breakfast specifications, and cancellation policy terms — the reservations agent applies these accurately in the PMS for every booking
- Manage the GDS corporate booking channel: the majority of CDMX corporate travel is booked through GDS by corporate travel managers — the reservations agent monitors GDS productivity, troubleshoots booking errors, and maintains the property's GDS content accuracy
- Process MICE group inquiries: CDMX is Latin America's most active MICE destination — conference groups, incentive programs, and corporate meetings generate significant room block demand — the reservations agent processes initial MICE inquiries and coordinates with the group sales team
- Handle altitude and seismic context communication: international business travelers arriving in CDMX for the first time may need proactive communication about altitude (2,240m) adjustment and the building's seismic protocols — the reservations agent includes this in the pre-arrival information for relevant guest profiles
- Manage the property's extended-stay corporate program: some CDMX corporate guests stay for weeks at a time — the reservations agent manages extended stay rate negotiations, room assignment preferences, and the administrative documentation of long-stay agreements

Work environment
Corporate reservations agent at a CDMX five-star business hotel. Corporate account management, GDS booking channel oversight, and MICE group processing in Latin America's most commercially significant hotel reservations environment.
About the role
The CDMX corporate reservations agent who manages a Fortune 500 company's Mexican subsidiary account — who knows that their CFO stays in a high-floor suite facing Chapultepec, that all bookings must be centrally billed to the company's master account, and that modifications called in after 5pm still need to be processed that evening — who handles 3 last-minute modifications on a Thursday afternoon with the same accuracy and speed as a standard booking — is providing a corporate account service that the company's travel manager will protect by renewing the preferred rate agreement every year. The renewal is the agent's performance review.
