Reservations Agent — Adults-Only Beach Resort

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations for an adults-only PDC luxury beach resort: the adults-only segment has specific booking communication requirements — the age policy must be communicated clearly and proactively, and the market profile (couples, honeymoon, romance, anniversary, solo luxury travel) shapes the upsell and package framing in every booking conversation
• Execute the romance and honeymoon package upsell: the adults-only property's core upsell categories are romance packages, preferred suite categories, and celebratory add-ons (in-room decorations, private dining, spa credits) — the reservations agent delivers the upsell naturally within the booking conversation
• Manage direct booking communication with the property's repeat guest base: the adults-only luxury segment has a particularly loyal repeat guest demographic — couples who return to the same property for anniversary trips create a direct booking relationship with the reservations agent who handles their accounts personally
• Coordinate with the property's wedding and romance sales team on booking conversion: inquiries that include wedding planning elements are referred to the wedding coordinator; the reservations agent retains the room block component and coordinates both channels
• Process OTA and tour operator bookings with age policy verification: the adults-only policy must be documented on all bookings regardless of source channel; age policy violations at check-in are operationally damaging and the reservations agent ensures the policy is clear in all booking confirmations
• Manage the property's seasonal demand and early booking incentive program: the adults-only luxury market books further in advance for key dates (Valentine's Day, high season weeks) — the reservations agent manages the early booking rate program and communicates to the appropriate market segments

Requirements

• Hotel reservations experience; luxury or adults-only property experience preferred
• English and Spanish bilingual; European language an advantage
• Romance and honeymoon package upsell competency
• OTA and tour operator booking management
• Precise policy communication for age-restricted properties
