Reservations & RevenueE-commerce & Digital Marketing Coordinator
Resort or hotel group, Cancún
Cancún
Fixed monthly + direct booking volume bonus
Responsibilities
- Manage the property's or hotel group's direct booking website and digital marketing channels: the Cancún hotel's direct website is the highest-margin booking channel — every direct booking saves the property 15–25% OTA commission; the e-commerce coordinator's primary commercial function is growing the share of direct bookings in the total mix
- Execute the property's paid search strategy (Google Ads, Meta Ads) to drive direct website traffic: manage the Google Hotel Ads bidding, search ad campaigns targeting the property's key feeder markets (US, Canada, Mexico), and retargeting campaigns for website visitors who did not convert
- Manage the property's social media presence with commercial intent: Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook content creation and scheduling; influencer stay coordination; the OTA content (photos, descriptions, and review response) that shapes the property's organic search visibility on booking platforms
- Monitor and maintain OTA content quality: the Cancún all-inclusive resort's Booking.com and TripAdvisor profiles are the first impression for the majority of booking decisions — the e-commerce coordinator ensures that photos are current, descriptions are accurate, and review responses are brand-standard
- Coordinate email marketing to the property's past guest database: the most cost-effective direct booking channel is the past guest who already knows the property — the e-commerce coordinator manages the CRM email calendar with seasonal promotions, loyalty incentives, and early booking offers
- Analyze and report on digital marketing performance: cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rate by source market, and direct booking percentage trend — weekly reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing

Work environment
E-commerce and digital marketing coordinator at a Cancún resort. Direct booking growth strategy, paid digital marketing management, and OTA content optimization for one of Mexico's most competitive hotel digital marketing environments.
About the role
The Cancún e-commerce coordinator who identifies in April that the property's Google Hotel Ads cost-per-click is MXN 8 above the market average for the target US feeder market segment — who adjusts the bidding strategy toward long-tail keyword targeting, reduces the broad match spend, and over 6 weeks brings the CPA down while maintaining conversion volume — and who presents the April-to-June CPA improvement chart in the July marketing review — has done the performance marketing optimization that the Revenue Manager can express as: direct booking cost savings of MXN 2.4M annualized. The marketing coordinator who speaks in those terms is developing the commercial vocabulary that the Director of Sales and Marketing values.
