Work environment
Revenue and e-commerce coordinator at a Guadalajara hotel. Event-driven demand management, domestic corporate rate strategy, and digital marketing for Mexico's second city's active hotel revenue environment.
About the role
The Guadalajara revenue coordinator who identifies in August that the FIL (International Book Fair) in November is three weeks earlier than the prior year — who adjusts the rate strategy for the November calendar accordingly, who launches the FIL period package on OTA three weeks earlier than last year — and who by October has the FIL week at 94% occupancy with an ADR 28% above the same week last year — has done the demand calendar reading that converted a one-month calendar change into MXN 1.2M in incremental revenue. The event is the same. The timing of the rate application is the commercial variable.
