E-commerce & Digital Distribution Manager

Five-star resort or boutique hotel group, Los Cabos

Los Cabos

MXN 25,000 – 38,000 / monthFull-time, permanent

Fixed monthly + housing allowance + direct booking performance bonus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the e-commerce and digital distribution strategy for a Los Cabos luxury property or hotel group: manage the direct booking website performance, paid digital marketing (Google Hotel Ads, Meta Ads targeting US, Canada, and European source markets), and the OTA channel strategy across all booking platforms
  • Develop and execute the property's luxury travel advisor digital relationship program: the luxury travel advisor community (Virtuoso, SIGNATURE, and independent travel consultants) has a significant digital component — the e-commerce manager manages the property's presence on preferred partner platforms, advisor-facing digital content, and the direct booking support tools that make the property easy for advisors to sell
  • Manage the sport fishing and golf package e-commerce products: the Los Cabos property's sport fishing charter package and golf package offerings require dedicated landing pages, specific paid search campaigns targeting the fishing and golf travel communities, and rate/availability integration with the fishing charter and golf course booking systems
  • Lead the property's content marketing program: blog content targeting US and Canadian luxury leisure travel search queries, destination photography management, video production coordination (the Los Cabos visual content is among the most commercially powerful in Mexican tourism), and the content distribution strategy across owned and earned channels
  • Monitor and optimize the property's OTA content and ranking: the Los Cabos five-star property's Booking.com and Expedia ranking affects non-direct booking revenue significantly — the e-commerce manager ensures content completeness, photo quality, and review response consistency that supports strong OTA ranking
  • Coordinate the property's digital presence on luxury travel platforms (Condé Nast Johansens, Small Luxury Hotels, Leading Hotels of the World) where applicable

  • E-commerce and digital marketing management experience at a luxury hotel or comparable premium brand

  • Housing allowance MXN 2,500/month
  • Staff meals

  • Career advancement to Director of E-commerce and Director of Sales and Marketing

Work environment

E-commerce and digital distribution manager at a Los Cabos luxury property. Multi-channel digital marketing strategy, luxury travel advisor digital program management, and direct booking growth leadership in Mexico's most commercially sophisticated resort market.

About the role

The Los Cabos e-commerce manager who builds a sport fishing package landing page — who writes the headline based on the specific billfish species calendar, who times the paid search campaign launch to coincide with the late-September booking window when the American sport fishing market plans the following winter season, who tracks the UTM attribution through to confirmed booking revenue — and who presents in November that the campaign generated MXN 4.2M in direct sport fishing package revenue at a cost of MXN 180,000 — has produced a 23:1 ROAS that makes the case for doubling the fishing campaign budget next year. The number is the argument. The e-commerce manager who knows how to build it and measure it is the one who gets the budget.
