Reservations & RevenueRevenue & E-commerce Specialist
Boutique eco-luxury resort, Riviera Maya / Playa del Carmen
Playa del Carmen
Fixed monthly + direct booking and RevPAR performance bonus
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete revenue function for a boutique eco-property (15–60 rooms): daily pace monitoring, rate adjustment across OTA and direct channels, length-of-stay optimization, and the seasonal demand management that governs the Riviera Maya calendar (Semana Santa, Easter, summer, December–January)
- Lead the direct booking growth strategy: the boutique eco-property's commercial sustainability depends on growing direct booking share above 40–50%; manage the email marketing calendar, Instagram community engagement strategy, and direct booking incentive program (room upgrades, experience add-ons, free nights for direct bookers)
- Manage the property's OTA channel strategy with SEMARNAT-aligned content: the Riviera Maya eco-property's OTA descriptions and photography must communicate the ecological context authentically — cenote access, reef-safe protocols, and sustainability certifications are commercial differentiators, not regulatory disclosures
- Execute the property's social media content strategy with direct booking intent: Instagram is the primary demand generation channel for the Riviera Maya boutique eco-property — the revenue and e-commerce specialist manages content planning, photography briefing, influencer stay coordination, and the trackable direct booking attribution from social media traffic
- Analyze competitive positioning within the boutique eco-luxury Riviera Maya segment: monitor pricing and availability of 5–8 competitive properties to understand the property's rate positioning and communicate findings to the property director
- Manage the property's email marketing to past guests, newsletter subscribers, and loyalty community
Requirements
- Revenue management and digital marketing combined experience; boutique hotel or eco-property preferred
- OTA extranet management (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia)
- Social media management with commercial direct booking intent
- Email marketing and CRM (Mailchimp or equivalent)
- English and Spanish bilingual; European language a significant advantage for PDC's European market
Benefits
- IMSS, aguinaldo, paid vacation + premium
- Staff meals
- Performance bonus on RevPAR and direct booking volume
- Career development combining revenue management and digital marketing — two of hospitality's most commercially valuable functions
- Integration into the Riviera Maya's boutique luxury hotel professional network
Work environment
Revenue and e-commerce specialist at a PDC boutique eco-luxury property. Combined revenue analytics and direct booking digital marketing for a small-inventory, high-ADR Riviera Maya boutique hotel.
About the role
The PDC eco-boutique revenue and e-commerce specialist who identifies in September that the January first week is running 15 rooms below pace — who launches a targeted Instagram Story campaign featuring the January morning cenote light, sends an email campaign to the property's past guest list with a first-week-of-January early bird offer, and adjusts the OTA rate to position the property 8% below the competitive set for that specific period — and who by October 15 has the week at 92% occupancy — has used three channels, two rate moves, and one targeted creative execution to fill 15 rooms that would have contributed zero revenue. That is the revenue and e-commerce function working as it should.
