Work environment
Five-star hotel boutique or cultural hotel shop in Polanco or Condesa, CDMX. Year-round professional environment serving Mexico's most culturally engaged domestic and international retail market.
About the role
The informed guide in the country's greatest cultural capital. The CDMX hotel guest who has just spent the morning at the Museo Nacional de Antropología — who walks into the hotel boutique and picks up a hand-woven Otomí textile and asks "is this from the Hidalgo region?" — and receives a yes, with the specific village named and the family cooperative described — has been answered by a professional who treated their knowledge with respect and added to it. That retail interaction is an extension of the cultural experience they just had in the museum.
