Resort Gift Shop & Boutique Associate

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist resort and hotel guests in gift shop or boutique
• Sell Jalisco and Mexican artisan products — Tonalá blown glass, Tlaquepaque pottery and talavera, hand-painted ceramics, premium tequila and mezcal, silver jewelry, Huichol beadwork
• Provide Jalisco artisan culture context — guests visiting PV have often been to Tlaquepaque or Tonalá and appreciate the connection between the artisan districts and the resort retail
• Process sales and manage inventory
• Maintain product display and shop presentation
• Build returning guest relationships — PV's loyal repeat visitor base creates genuine long-term retail relationships

Requirements

• Previous retail or service experience preferred
• Basic English — PV resort retail is predominantly North American clientele
• Knowledge of Jalisco artisan traditions — Tonalá glass, Talavera, tequila culture
• Warm, relationship-oriented personality — PV's repeat visitor culture makes personal connection a genuine sales asset
• Professional presentation
