Work environment
Eco-boutique or hotel retail in Tulum. The retail environment itself — hand-crafted wooden shelving, natural fiber displays, copal incense in the air — is part of the product experience.
About the role
The curator of conscious purchases. The Tulum guest who picks up a jar of copal resin and asks where it comes from — and receives a genuine answer that it was sustainably harvested from Copal Copalli resin trees in Oaxaca by a cooperative of Zapotec families who have been tapping the same trees for three generations, with a percentage of every sale returning to the cooperative — has had a retail interaction that reinforced every reason they chose Tulum as a destination. That authenticity is the entire product.
