OPC / Guest Contact — All-Inclusive Resort Zone

Vacation club affiliated with all-inclusive resort, Zona Hotelera

Cancún

MXN 7,500 – 100 / monthFull-time, permanent

Base salary + per-tour commission (unlimited)

Responsibilities

  • Approach hotel guests and tourists in designated zones (pool deck, beach area, lobby, resort entrance) to invite them to a 90-minute vacation club presentation
  • Qualify prospective guests: couple or individual must meet minimum income criteria, be a homeowner or renter with decision-making authority, be on vacation (not traveling for work), and have 90 minutes available
  • Explain the gift offer clearly and accurately to qualified guests — dinner for two, excursion, spa credit, or similar; clarify the 90-minute presentation commitment
  • Book and confirm the tour appointment: coordinate the time with the sales team on-site
  • Meet daily and weekly tour quotas set by the OPC team leader; track performance against target
  • Maintain professional, friendly presentation at all times — OPC work is high-contact with an international tourist audience

Requirements

  • Outgoing, socially confident personality — this role involves approaching strangers all day
  • English language competency at conversational level — most Cancún vacation club guests are North American
  • Commission-driven motivation — base salary is a floor, not a target
  • Prior tourism, sales, or guest contact experience a strong plus but not required; character is hired, skills are trained

Benefits

  • IMSS, aguinaldo, paid vacation + premium
  • Base salary plus uncapped per-tour commission
  • Daily transport within the Hotel Zone
  • Training and qualifying tour target support from team leader

Work environment

Outdoor and semi-outdoor resort environment. High social, high foot-traffic OPC role with direct contact with international vacationers throughout the shift.

About the role

The OPC who books 8 qualified tours in a day earns MXN 800–1,440 in commission on top of their base. Two hundred working days a year, 6 tours average per day — the math is clear. The income ceiling in OPC work in Cancún is set only by the number of qualified guests you can reach and convert, and in the Hotel Zone, the foot traffic is never the problem.
