Sales & Vacation ClubVacation Club Sales Executive — All-Inclusive Resort
Vacation club affiliated with all-inclusive resort, Zona Hotelera, Cancún
Cancún
Base + per-sale commission + monthly volume bonus (uncapped)
Responsibilities
- Receive pre-qualified prospect couples from the OPC team: greet warmly at the welcome desk, escort to the presentation room, and begin the tour with a needs-discovery conversation rather than a pitch
- Present the vacation club membership in a structured 90-minute format: destination discovery, club benefits overview, property tour (in-person or virtual), financial comparison, and membership presentation
- Navigate the objection-handling phase: "we need to think about it," "we can't afford it right now," and "we already have a timeshare" are the three most common objections in the Cancún market — develop competent, non-pressured responses to each
- Request a Table Opener (TO) from the senior closer team when a sale is not progressing — the TO system is a normal part of vacation club sales and a resource to use, not a last resort
- Complete all sales documentation accurately: contract, financing application if applicable, gift redemption processing
- Debrief with OPC team lead on prospect quality after each tour: providing accurate qualification feedback improves the quality of future tours
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication and needs-identification skill
- Resilience — vacation club sales involves daily rejection; psychological endurance is not optional
- English fluency — virtually all Cancún vacation club prospects are English-speaking
- Commission-driven work ethic and genuine competitive motivation
- Prior sales or persuasion-based experience preferred; not required for candidates with natural aptitude and willingness to train
Benefits
- IMSS, aguinaldo, paid vacation + premium
- Base salary + uncapped per-sale commission
- Monthly volume bonus for sales above quota
- Resort dining during shift
- Career development pathway: Product knowledge, advanced closing, TO certification
Work environment
Vacation club sales room and resort grounds in the Cancún Hotel Zone. Structured daily routine: morning briefing, 2–4 tours, objection-handling practice, and debrief.
About the role
The Cancún vacation club sales executive who closes 3 sales in a week has earned MXN 9,000–24,000 in commission on top of their base. The one who closes 8 in a week — which experienced executives do during peak season in the Hotel Zone — is earning income that changes their financial picture entirely. The training curve is steep: the first 90 days are about learning the presentation and surviving rejection. After 6 months, the separation between those who will do well and those who won't is clear.
