Sales & Vacation ClubVacation Club Sales Executive — Spanish-Language Product
Vacation club targeting domestic Mexican and Latin American markets, Cancún
Cancún
Base + per-sale commission
Responsibilities
- Present vacation club membership to domestic Mexican, Colombian, Argentine, and other Latin American guest couples — the Spanish-speaking prospect requires a different framing than the North American OPC-generated tour
- Navigate the domestic guest's cultural context: Mexican and Latin American guests are typically less familiar with the vacation club format than North American guests, and the presentation needs to invest more time in explaining the product concept before entering the membership presentation
- Address domestic price-sensitivity: Mexican and Latin American guest products are priced below the North American product — the commission per sale is lower, but the qualification rate and conversion rate with a culturally-matched sales executive tend to be higher
- Work with the domestic OPC team or hotel partnerships to receive tours: domestic vacation club sales channels are different from the traditional North American OPC model
- Complete bilingual documentation: Spanish-language contracts and financing documentation
- Develop referral relationships with guests who purchase: domestic members are more likely to refer family and friends directly than North American members
Requirements
- Spanish native speaker; ideally bilingual Spanish/English
- Understanding of domestic Mexican consumer values and vacation purchase decision-making
- Sales or direct persuasion experience in a Spanish-language environment
- Familiarity with domestic financing options (BBVA, Santander Mexico, Banamex credit products)
Benefits
- IMSS, aguinaldo, paid vacation + premium
- Base + per-sale commission
- Monthly tour and sales volume incentive
- Resort dining during shift
- Language skills bonus for bilingual English/Spanish executives
Work environment
Domestic market vacation club sales room in Cancún. Spanish-language sales environment targeting the growing Mexican domestic tourism market in the Caribbean.
About the role
The Mexican domestic tourism market in Cancún has grown dramatically over the past decade — and so has the domestic vacation club market. The Mexican family that spends MXN 15,000 per year on a week at a Cancún resort every summer is, financially, an obvious candidate for a vacation club membership that guarantees the same week for less per year over ten years. The sales executive who can make that comparison credible in the domestic guest's financial and cultural context is working in a fast-growing market segment.
