Sales & Vacation ClubVacation Club Sales Executive — European Market Focus
Boutique vacation club or resort membership program, Playa del Carmen
Playa del Carmen
Base + per-sale commission + language performance bonus
Responsibilities
- Present vacation club membership to European prospect couples: Playa del Carmen attracts a significantly higher proportion of European guests than Cancún's Hotel Zone — German, Italian, French, Scandinavian, and British travelers are regular vacation club prospects in the PDC market
- Adapt the presentation for European cultural context: European guests are more skeptical of the vacation club format than North Americans, often more analysis-led in financial decision-making, and less responsive to urgency tactics — the executive must present with full transparency and statistical evidence
- Present in English and the prospect's first language where possible: PDC is one of the few Mexican vacation club markets where consistent European-language sales capability is genuinely viable
- Navigate EU consumer protection familiarity: European guests may reference EU timeshare directive protections; accurate explanation of how Mexican vacation club products are structured differently is essential
- Coordinate with boutique property management for product demonstrations: European buyers respond strongly to experiencing the physical property they'd be accessing
- Maintain direct post-tour follow-up contact for non-closing prospects
Requirements
- Spanish native; English fluency; at least one European language at conversational-to-fluent level (Italian, German, or French preferred for the PDC market)
- Understanding of European cultural attitudes toward investment and membership commitments
- Sales patience and analytical presentation ability
- Boutique or premium sales experience
Benefits
- IMSS, aguinaldo, paid vacation + premium
- Language performance bonus on per-sale commission
- Monthly international market production incentive
- Staff dining at boutique property
- Career differentiation: multilingual European-market vacation club skill is one of the rarest capabilities in Mexican hospitality sales
Work environment
European-market vacation club sales in Playa del Carmen. Multilingual boutique sales environment requiring cultural sensitivity and presentation adaptability.
About the role
The Italian couple who chose Playa del Carmen over Cancún probably did so because they wanted authenticity and atmosphere rather than a mega-resort. That instinct aligns very naturally with a boutique vacation club product that offers exactly what they came looking for — just organized, guaranteed, and financially structured. The executive who can explain that in Italian is sitting in one of the most underserved niches in the Mexican vacation club market.
