Vacation Club Sales Executive — Riviera Maya Resort Product

Large vacation club resort, Riviera Maya corridor

Playa del Carmen

MXN 15,000 – 3,500 / monthFull-time, permanent

Base + per-sale commission + monthly volume bonus

Responsibilities

  • Receive OPC-generated tours from the Riviera Maya team: prospects pre-qualified for the resort's membership product, arriving at the welcome center for a 90–110 minute presentation
  • Open each presentation with a destination-led conversation: Riviera Maya guests are usually mid-trip, enthusiastic about the destination, and more receptive to a conversation that starts with their experience than one that starts with a product pitch
  • Present the membership value proposition through comparison: the resort's annual membership pricing versus what the couple will spend on accommodation over the same period — the comparison must be accurate and presented at a pace the guest can follow
  • Navigate the objection phase with confidence: Riviera Maya guests commonly raise "we want to check online first," "our friends had a bad experience with timeshares," and "we can't make this decision today" — effective, non-pressured responses to each are core technique
  • Use the TO when needed: Playa del Carmen's sales rooms use active TO programs; calling for the TO correctly and at the right moment is a technique skill that improves close rate
  • Debrief tour outcomes and qualification feedback to the OPC team lead after each presentation

Requirements

  • B2C sales experience or strong persuasion background
  • English fluency — the Riviera Maya market's dominant OPC demographic is North American
  • European language ability a genuine advantage (French, Italian, German speakers are well-represented in PDC's tourist population)
  • Psychological resilience for daily objection-handling
  • Open to structured training format

Benefits

  • IMSS, aguinaldo, paid vacation + premium
  • Base + per-sale commission (uncapped)
  • Monthly volume bonus
  • Three meals provided during shift
  • Sales training program access

Work environment

Vacation club sales room in the Riviera Maya corridor. Structured daily tour schedule with morning briefing and active management support.

About the role

The Playa del Carmen vacation club market benefits from the Riviera Maya's extraordinary appeal as a destination. The sales executive's job is not to convince the couple that they should spend more time here — they already want to. The job is to show them that a vacation club membership makes that annual return both guaranteed and more financially efficient. That's a relatively short logical bridge to close in a destination people genuinely love.
