Hotel Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control resort access points — main entrance, beach access, parking areas, service entrances
• Conduct perimeter patrols on scheduled rounds — lobby, pool areas, beach, parking, gardens, and access corridors
• Respond to guest incidents — disturbances, medical emergencies, lost items, suspicious behavior
• Enforce resort policies — beach access controls, wristband verification at all-inclusive properties, area restrictions
• Coordinate with front office on VIP arrivals requiring elevated security attention
• Operate CCTV monitoring systems and report incidents accurately in daily log
• Liaise with local police and emergency services when required

Requirements

• Valid STASPE or equivalent federal security certification — required by Mexican law for private security personnel
• Clean background record
• Physical fitness for active patrol duty
• Basic English for guest interaction — security guards regularly interact with international guests
• Calm, composed judgment in tense situations
• Basic first aid knowledge preferred
