Hotel Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control hotel access points — main entrance, beach access, pool perimeter, service zones
• Conduct scheduled property patrols — lobby, corridors, parking, beach, gardens
• Respond to guest incidents — medical emergencies, disturbances, lost property, suspicious activity
• Enforce property policies — beach wristband verification, pool closing times, restricted area control
• Operate CCTV monitoring systems and maintain accurate incident log
• Interact with international guests professionally — Playa's multilingual guest base requires composed, clear communication
• Coordinate with local police when required

Requirements

• STASPE certification
• Clean background record
• Physical fitness for patrol duty
• Basic English — essential for guest interaction in Playa's international tourism environment
• Calm judgment under pressure
• Basic first aid knowledge preferred
