About the role
The calm presence in a lively destination. Playa del Carmen is one of Mexico's most energetic tourist cities — the combination of beach culture, active nightlife, and millions of international visitors creates a security environment that is never boring. The officer who patrols that environment with professional composure — who deescalates the drunk tourist, who assists the lost elderly guest, who catches the pickpocket on the beach — is doing active, meaningful security work in one of Mexico's most human and complex hospitality environments.
