Hotel Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control hotel access — main entrance, beach perimeter, pool areas, parking, service zones
• Conduct scheduled patrols across property
• Respond to guest incidents with professional composure — PV's older and repeat-visitor demographic includes fewer high-energy disturbances than younger resort corridors
• Manage beach access security — vendor exclusion zones, unauthorized access control
• Operate CCTV and incident management systems
• Coordinate with marina security when relevant — PV properties near the Marina Vallarta require port access coordination
• Maintain accurate daily incident log

Requirements

• STASPE certification
• Clean background record
• Physical fitness for patrol duty in PV's tropical climate
• Basic English
• Composed, professional judgment
• Basic first aid knowledge preferred
