Responsibilities

• Deliver facial and skin treatments — cleansing, hydration, brightening, anti-aging
• Apply Yucatecan signature beauty treatments — Mérida honey and papaya enzyme facial (local Yucatecan honey is among the finest in Mexico), cenote mineral hydration facial, copal aromatherapy beauty ritual, chaya leaf anti-inflammatory treatment
• Conduct skin consultation and analysis for hotel guests and local clientele
• Deliver waxing and hair removal services
• Provide body treatment protocols — tropical sugar scrub, Yucatecan botanical wrap
• Build relationships with Mérida's expat and long-stay community for ongoing beauty services

Requirements

• Certified esthetician with 1+ year professional experience
• Yucatecan botanical and ingredient knowledge — being able to explain local ingredients authentically is professional currency in Mérida's cultural tourism market
• Basic English — boutique hotel spa guests are North American and European cultural tourists
• Warm, relationship-oriented approach
• Professional presentation
