Work environment
Resort spa esthetic treatment room in Puerto Vallarta. The PV resort spa esthetician has the unusual professional advantage of building returning client relationships across multiple seasons — a personal practice dimension not available in higher-turnover resort markets.
About the role
The esthetician that guests plan around. The PV repeat visitor who emails from Canada in September to book their January facial with the same esthetician — who has been tracking their skin's response to PV sun and humidity across four winters — has a professional relationship that exists nowhere else in their beauty routine. The esthetician who provides that continuity of expert, personalized care is doing something categorically different from a one-time resort service.
