Spa Massage Therapist — Boutique Hotel

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional massage treatments — Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal massage, reflexology
• Execute Yucatán-inspired signature treatments — Mayan healing herb poultice (chaka and other medicinal plants), cenote mineral wrap, Yucatecan honey and papaya body treatment, copal aromatherapy
• Conduct pre-treatment consultation and health screening
• Maintain treatment room in boutique hotel spa context — personalized, intimate, culturally distinctive
• Serve both hotel guests and Mérida local and expat clientele
• Provide product recommendations following treatments

Requirements

• Certified massage therapist with 1+ year professional experience
• Genuine interest in Yucatecan and Mayan healing traditions — Mérida's cultural tourism market expects authenticity
• Basic English — Mérida boutique hotels serve significant North American and European cultural tourists
• Warm, relationship-oriented approach
• Professional presentation
