Work environment
Boutique wellness spa or day spa in San Miguel de Allende. SMA's spa market is year-round, not seasonal — the expat community provides consistent monthly income across all 12 months, unlike coastal resort destinations with distinct low seasons.
About the role
The therapist who sustains wellbeing across years. The SMA expat who retires to the colonial highlands of Guanajuato — who finds a massage therapist they trust within their first month, who books every Thursday at 10am, who tells every newly arrived neighbor to book with that same therapist — has found something that contributes measurably to their daily quality of life. The therapist who provides that consistency, for years, for a small community of loyal clients, has built something rare: a practice that functions more like a long-term health relationship than a service transaction.
