Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in spa guests at boutique Mérida hotel — warm, personal, culturally informed welcome
• Manage treatment booking schedule — small boutique format with intimate, personalized scheduling
• Advise guests on Yucatecan signature treatment selection — explain the Mayan healing tradition behind each treatment with genuine knowledge
• Coordinate therapist schedule and treatment room allocation
• Process payments and maintain records
• Manage retail area — local artisan wellness products, Yucatecan botanical products, handmade items
• Build relationships with Mérida's expat community and returning guests

Requirements

• Previous hospitality or service experience preferred
• Professional English — Mérida's boutique hotel spa market serves North American and European cultural tourists
• Genuine interest in Yucatecan culture and Mayan healing traditions — guests ask real questions and expect real answers
• Warm, relationship-oriented professional approach
• Cultural sensitivity and personal presentation appropriate for boutique luxury context
