Spa & Temazcal Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all spa and temazcal ceremony operations — scheduling, facilitator coordination, guest preparation communication
• Manage pre-temazcal guest communication — health screening, preparation guidelines, ceremony expectations, cultural context
• Coordinate with indigenous temazcal facilitators on ceremony scheduling and cultural protocol
• Handle group temazcal bookings — retreat groups, cultural tourism groups, wedding parties
• Manage spa operation coordination alongside temazcal programming
• Develop cultural wellness programming in collaboration with Oaxacan artisan and culinary partners
• Produce operational reports and guest experience documentation

Requirements

• 1–2 years spa, wellness, or cultural tourism coordination experience
• Deep Oaxacan wellness and cultural heritage knowledge — temazcal ceremony protocols, Zapotec healing traditions
• Professional English
• Cultural sensitivity and indigenous community respect — temazcal coordination requires collaboration with traditional knowledge holders
• Logistical ability for multi-element wellness experience coordination
