About the role
The coordinator of a living ceremony. The Oaxacan temazcal coordinator who has managed 200 ceremonies — who knows which guests need more preparation, which facilitators bring the most profound ceremonial presence, which wood combination creates the right heat for winter versus summer — has developed expertise in something genuinely irreplaceable. Temazcal ceremony coordination in Oaxaca is not a generic spa job. It is a specialized professional role at the intersection of hospitality, cultural heritage, and traditional healing.
