Work environment

Resort spa or boutique day spa in Playa del Carmen. The multilingual, socially diverse environment of Playa's spa market is more varied and stimulating than a standard resort corridor.

About the role

The multilingual welcome. The Italian couple who books their first massage in Playa — slightly uncertain about the spa, not sure what to expect — and is greeted by a receptionist who says "Benvenuti, ho già visto la vostra prenotazione" feels immediately at home. That moment of linguistic recognition, in a foreign country, is a small but real gift. The Playa spa receptionist who can provide that for guests from three countries in the same morning is providing something genuinely distinctive.
